If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged.

If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged.

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and extra beds

Up to two children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots.

Up to two children from 4 to 11 years are charged EUR 17.50 per night and person when using existing bedding.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 45.00 per night and person for extra beds.

Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

An intimate 4-star hotel with an amazing island atmosphere. Greenside surprises you with typical Texel hospitality and lots of comfort. Serenity and space are typical of the island and have been translated into the ambiance of the hotel. A Greenside stay equals pure comfort. Experience and taste the culinary dishes prepared with local produce, relax in an attractive atmosphere and the matching luxury in spacious rooms.

Your stay
The rooms offer lots of space and have been decorated in a stylish and modern fashion. The separate sitting corner offers great relaxation. Luxuries offered: a minibar, wireless Internet, bathtub and private balcony or terrace. Our suites are also fitted with an LCD TV featuring a DVD player, and an espresso machine. The comfortable beds guarantee a healthy night's sleep.

Grand Café and Restaurant
In the Grand Café, the sense of being at home predominates. Sitting at the reading table with a cup of coffee, relaxing whilst enjoying a "Texels juttertje" (liqueur) or having a drink with family and friends. Our doors are open all day long. Restaurant Wambinge, named after Texel's oldest village, focuses on authenticity. Discover the classic French kitchen (prepared with Texel produce). Several menus and an a la carte with refined dishes will prove a tasteful closure of the day.

Body & Health
Optimum relaxation of body and spirit in our relaxing area. The sauna, Turkish steam bath and the Hydrojet are especially refreshing and relaxing. The solarium offers beneficent heat and will slightly tan your skin, if the weather is slightly disappointing.

Meeting Rooms
For our corporate clients we take care of business gatherings, such as seminars, meetings and trainings. Tasty lunches and dinners and a relaxing stay complement your corporate event on Texel. In co-operation with sporty and cultural partners, Greenside offers complete customised (day) programmes. Our rooms also form the perfect entourage for family dinners, wedding parties and other parties or gatherings.

Food & beverage

A feeling of ‘being at home’ pervades the Grand Café. Have a cup of coffee while sitting at the reading table, relax after a day of beachcombing or enjoy a drink with family and friends. The doors are open to you all day long. Wambinge Restaurant, named after the oldest village on Texel, prides itself on its authenticity. Discover the classic French cuisine that highlights the products of Texel. Diverse fixed menus and an à la kart menu with exquisite dishes form the perfect way to end the day.

Room information

The spacious room are decorated in a stylish and modern way. The separate sitting area provides a nice place to relax.

The rooms are luxurious thanks to the minibar, wireless internet, bath and the private balcony or terrace.

The bathroom of the superior room has a whirlpool and a sun shower.

The suites are equipped with an LCD TV, a DVD player, Hästens beds and a Nespresso machine.

All rooms located in the wing of the building have air conditioning.

Area information

The hotel has a very quiet location just a few minutes from the exciting centre of De Koog. The beach, dunes and the forest are close to the hotel.

The staff was wonderful. Can't say enough about them. The food in the restaurant was the best kept secret on the island. It was 5 star quality food and the service was great.

When I called to request a cot for our baby, they informed me that since I had not requested it when I made the reservation, they didn't know we had a child and so the hotel was booked and we couldn't come. They ended up making an exception for us, but there hadn't been a place to mention them when booking because they were under the age that we had to pay for them. This needs to be revised.

Friendly, professional and helpfull personel // For urgent mater we had to leave earlier than planned, the Hotel was flexible with respect to the leaving date. // Breakfast was very good.

I liked the modern decor and the attention to detail and the friendly service.

I understand the restaurant was very special but I found the prices a little too high. I had the local lamb which was lovely but did not understand that it was served almost rare and could not eat it all. However the restaurant was beautiful and the service very good.

It was a good sized room and an excellent breakfast buffet. The staff were helpful and friendly.

I would have preferred tea/coffee making facilities in the room. This was only available if you booked a suite.
