Located along the old River Boorne, this family-run hotel offers elegant guest rooms, a wonderful terrace on the water and an attractive seafood restaurant.

Dating back to 1961, the Hotel Restaurant Goerres provides you with a comfortable base in charming Akkrum. Wake up with a complimentary breakfast buffet and decide to rent a boat from the hotel.

You can take off for a sail through the surrounding Frisian lakes and villages. The hotel’s bicycles also offer a fun and active way of exploring the wider area. Benefit from free on-site parking for your car or boat.

The restaurant is known for its delicious seafood and Frisian specialities, while the waterfront terrace is a great spot for a drink and a chat.

Just a few minutes from the railway station, Goerres offers excellent transport connections. The A32 motorway between Leeuwarden and Heerenveen is also easily accessible.

Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

The staff were very helpful & friendly.

The stairs to our room were very steep - just something for info, not something that caused us to dislike the hotel.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. Our stay there was quiet and relaxing. We could have rented their bikes too, but did not have time to.

Just a reminder that stairs in Holland are more on the steep side.

mooie omgeving / aardig personeel / leuk hotel voor een leuke prijs /mogelijkheid om met meer dan 2 personen op de kamer te slapen (en dan ook nog enige privacy te hebben) / van de trein die andere gasten melden hebben we geen enkele last gehad

de trap was inderdaad erg stijl

De ligging aan het water; alle kamers aan de achterkant van het hotel.

De stank in de badkamer. Waarschijnlijk de riolering. Zouden ze naar kijkn; had waarschijnlijk te maken met het weer.....
