Our renowned chef Martin Hoppers and his team create culinary delights made from fresh local products.

Your care in getting us into a room early after a long night's flight. Help from the concierge in getting boarding passes on the Internet. The pea soup and breads for supper at the bar!!!

No easy way to get to the center of the city.

the pool was good, I found all staff were very helpful

breakfast was very crowded, there were no glasses for the fruit juice and no tea pots available, didn't go to breakfast after that. Was not impressed that there was a parking charge.

We arrived early in the morning, and our rooms were not ready, which we expected. As there were nine of us, the staff gave us a meeting room in which to change clothes, and the use of a bathroom to wash up, as we were headed to Amsterdam for the day. I had booked dinner reservations for the evening; there were eleven in our group. Although expensive, the food and service was incredible.

Renovation work taking place at the hotel which was disruptive early mornings at the weekend when we wanted to lie in and relax.

We waited 1hr for a taxi at 08:00 in the morning which never even came,
meaning that we had take the shuttle bus to the airport and get a taxi
there. The hotel staff said they had called 5 taxi companies but I was
then informed at the airport later that day that the hotel concierge
have 'backhand agreements' with certain companies and would not call any
others. We were therefore 1hr 30mins late for our meeting. This is
outrageous for a business htoel and I will ensure that I and none of my
colleagues ever stay at this hotel again.

They upgraded my room after I checked into a room that had not been fully cleaned.

Two things - first, I waited 55 minutes for the airport shuttle when it is supposed to come every half hour. I wound up taking a taxi to the hotel. Second, when I checked into the room they gave me, there was a bottle of shampoo in the shower and newspapers on the desk - which made it look like someone was still occupying the room. I would rate this as a poor job of having the room ready for the next guest. However, they did upgrade me to a nicer room when I complained.
